Studio 3 - Integration

The process included a recorded live demo as well as producing a quality recording and mixing in a team with the producer and the band “SlapJack” within six weeks.

Studio 5 - Major Project: Four Track EP

The EP process included recording, mixing and mastering the 4 tracks of the indie-rock band No Halo to a professional standard.

VALERIE (AMY WINEHOUSE COVER) - AWA & JOE

Studio 2 - Acoustic Composition

The song, “Valerie” by Amy Winehouse is a slowed down R&B version with alto sax, trumpet, trombone, piano, guitar, drum/ percussion, backup vocals and vocals, whereas this arrangement is stripped down to just an acoustic guitar and vocals to get the approach of an acoustic cover.

SOMETHING BETTER - UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE

Studio 2 - Band

“Something Better” is an R&B styled song that goes for 3.29 minutes. The song is an original composition written by Awa Mbaye and Jatayu Mudana. The band consists of a small ensemble of drums, bass, guitar, and vocals.

First time recording a band so not my best work (vocals are too quiet and the band is out of time)

SENIOR SEMINAR - 81%

 The research is about the increase of women in the audio industry and how the industry needs to be more equitable for women, as there are still big barriers that women face that need to be let go of in the industry. 

SOUND SYSTEM PROPOSAL

ADVANCED AUDIO SYSTEM DESIGN - 87%

This proposal is for a corporate gala dinner event and provides the event time requirements, the band and stage layout and budget costs to facilitate this large-scale corporate event and contains an equipment list with system specifications as well as including WHS requirements.
